Shall We Dance?

Tomorrow!!! I can't believe it...I don't think it has hit home yet. The vacuumed bags have worked out great, but I'll let you know what it does to the clothes???

As you can see we're starting the dancin' part of the cruise already!!! I can't wait to get on the dance floor, so Ken better be ready to show his box steps and fox trots!!!!

Next week already???

Oh boy...I can't believe we will be leaving next week. The planning has been fun...checking out all the shore excursions, dealing with leaving our houses, and packing!!! Oh my goodness...the packing for 3 1/2 months. I did find a great item that you may try if you haven't. It's those plastic bags that you either roll the air out or use a vacuum to suck all the air out. Amazing how it condenses the clothes. You are allowed to take as much luggage as you want on the ship. although you have to find a place to store it...there is just so much room under the bed!!

On this trip I will be working with second graders if you are interested in checking out that blog...it's called www.burtonworldwide.blogspot.com. My best friend in Flint, Mich. is a second grade teacher and had the suggestion to have her students track us. So my great travel agent, Tammi at AAA gave us a little bear. The students named the bear Burton, after the township they live in and I will be communicating with pictures, stories and some traveling education with them on a weekly basis. Feel free to join in.

So my bags are almost packed and I'm almost ready to go..tata!!
